This article takes a look at the features of the digital divide in the context of Russia's regions implementing innovative technologies Industry 4.0. Analyses the causes contributing to the formation of the digital gap between the subjects of the Russian Federation, the estimation of the level of development of the regions on the basis of index data «Digital Russia». Provides recommendations for bridging the existing digital divide between the regions of Russia.
