This article examines the role of an organization's digital footprint in the context of economic valuation. The methods and tools used to collect, analyze and interpret data about a company's digital footprint are analyzed. Using examples from real companies, it demonstrates how the digital footprint can serve as an important tool for making business decisions and assessing cost-effectiveness.
