The article discusses digital financial assets as a tool for managing the effectiveness of business models. It has been established that the financial market can be the largest sector of the economy worldwide according to market capitalization. At the same time, if blockchain technology replaces only a small part of such operations, as well as peer-to-peer transactions in other sectors, then it will be able to dramatically increase the efficiency of the financial sector. It is proved that micropayments can act as one of the promising areas of blockchain technology. It is determined that blockchain is a revolution, as opposed to just evolutionary innovations. It was found out that the distributed registry technology as a whole undermines the hierarchy, since it allows you to work in a distributed network without intermediaries, using the consensus of participants instead of control. At the same time, rational money management is perhaps the most basic role of government institutions. Therefore, it is only necessary to understand that in the near future global financial institutions will not give full control of the protocol, and therefore systems that are based on blockchain technology, since a single standard needs more time, will still need compatibility with many areas of financial activity.
