Digital platforms and digital finance: problems and prospects of development

The article provides an overview of the international scientific and practical conference "Digital platforms and digital finance", which took place on November 24 and 25, 2016 in St. Petersburg on the basis of two universities: Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics (SPbUE) and the International Banking Institute. Among the participants are professors and scientists from SPbUE, IBI, Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEKH", Saint-Petersburg State Technological Institute (Technical University), Volgograd State Technical University, as well as representatives of the business community of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The conference reports address the impact of information infrastructure and large data on cognitive systems, raise questions of a methodological nature in the context of the concept of "costs and results" of the digital economy, and provide an analysis of the relationship between innovation and financial management, opportunities and boundaries of mobile commerce and trends of digital mobile communications in banking sector.
