Digital technologies and their influence on quality of life

The impact of digital technology on quality of life is not straightforward. Opening up new opportunities for mankind in achieving economic growth, ensuring well-being and quality of life, new technologies carry a significant number of threats caused by the high speed of the changes and the uncontrolled spontaneous development of the information and communication industry. This study examines the main features and the key problems of digitalization, proposes principles and key areas of development of digital technologies that contribute to the achievement of sustainable development and improve the quality of life.
