Digital transformations of modern society: domestic and foreign experience

The article is devoted to the current problems of digital transformations in different life spheres of modern society. Within the framework of the study the analysis of the structure of digital transformations has been performed, the essence and peculiarities of accompanying trends have been described. Besides, the analysis of trends and problems of digitalization in the state governance has been carried out; the principles of creating digital government have been studied. The features of digital economy and trends of the platform-based decisions in processes of digitalization in economy and state governance have been described. The opportunities provided by the Internet have been analyzed for different business spheres. World experience as well as peculiarities in implementing digital technologies have been investigated. Specific features of digital transformations in developing and developed countries have been identified; countries have been grouped by the level of development of their digital governance. The digitalization levels of countries have been analyzed in the context of the Internet services provided to the population. The experience of digital transformations in the Russian Federation has been studied, and cost analysis has been performed for digital transformations in the domestic economy and management. Trend models describing company expenditures on digitalization of external and internal business processes in Russia have been created. The quality analysis for the obtained trend and polynomial models has been carried out, projected values of the costs of business digital transformations have been determined. Causes and consequences of business digitalization in post pandemic have been analyzed. Recommendations for further implementing digital transformations of the modern society have been devised. Practical implications of the study include the potential use of the analysis results in terms of the trends and features of digital transformations in the society aimed at successful implementation of transformation processes in both social institutions and business.
