Having achieved the agro-industrial stage in the early 20th century and under gone the 1914-1920 disaster, Russia transformed its imperial market industry into an economic autarchy. On its basis an industrial-agrarian militaristic economy was constructed in the 1930s. In the 1960s, this autarchy started to crumble, but it turned out to be impossible to reform; this led to the collapse of the USSR economy. Unfortunately, the 2000s Russian economy follows the same hazardous trajectory of oil export expansion, which is further compounded by the powerful effects of market cycles.

Agro-industrial economy, juglar cycles, industrial-agrarian economy, autarchy, the faults of kondratiev theory, genuine long cycles
