The cycles of rotation of the ruling elite as a factor of crisises of Russia's political system

The article substantiates the hypothesis that the crisis of the political system in Russia is linked to the rotation of generations of political elites, which in turn are cyclical in nature. On the base of the retrospective method of political analysis the authors prove that in contrast to the cycles of Schlesinger Russian cycle duration is 42 years, including struggle for power, stabilization of power and struggle for the preservation of power.
