Neurohormonal effects of chronic stress, neuronal activity and neuronal function alter dynamic homeostasis through neurovascular connections. The study of neurovascular communication has become possible through the use of optical methods, as well as methods of vascular and metabolic signals mapping - positron emission tomography (PET), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), simultaneously with electrophysiological measurements (EEG). Management of “brain-microbiota” neural network in accordance with circadian rhythms of the organism will allow to obtain new fundamental and clinical effects in the operation of neural circuits with specific input and output functions and in the regulation of processes in these circuits using appropriate pharmacological, genetic and physiological tools.
