Hemoblastosis is one of the most common infectious diseases of cattle. A significant number of publications in the regions of Russia, including Western Siberia, have been devoted to this problem. Despite some progress in the study of the etiology and pathogenesis of leukosis, the development of diagnostics, as well as a system of effective and economically feasible measures, the situation of leukosis in the country continues to be tense. In the present work, the immunophenotypic profile of lymphocytes in lymphoproliferative processes in dairy cows was analyzed. The heterogeneity of lymphoproliferative diseases was revealed and the main types of lymphomas and leukemias common in the farms of the Omsk region were determined. It was found that 50-60% of animals with an increased number of leukocytes and lymphocytes to the level of “suspiciousˮ for leukemia disease during repeated examination (after a month) have a blood picture within the normal range. The obtained data indicate the influence of a number of factors (diseases of different etiologies, pregnancy) on the blood picture of animals, which must be taken into account when conducting diagnostic studies for lymphoproliferative diseases in order to exclude errors.
