The article considers the characteristics of the civilizational codes of the Anglo-Saxon and Russian civilizational systems. Their correlative meaningful clusters are noted. At the same time, attention is focused on a number of issues arising from the procedural relationship between culture and civilization: the leading role of culture in the dyad with civilization; about the "historical archetype" and the cultural and civilizational impact on it. Attention is drawn to the polymerization and inconsistency of the intercivilizational dialogue process. It is noted that inter-civilizational dialogues can take the form of "soft power", which opposes aggressive propaganda and such phenomena as "culture of prohibitions", "Russophobia", "economic Nazism", etc. Such forms of civilizational dialogic interaction as "technological spiritual feudalism", the search for the foundations of a "new civilization", "sovereignty of the spirit", "language of communication", "decline of civilizations" are analyzed in detail. Questions of intercivilizational dialogue are raised in connection with modern political processes.
