Civilizational effects of mahayana Buddhism spread in Asia

This article discusses some philosophical concepts of Mahayana Buddhism and their pragmatic application in practice of public administration, economy and ideological sphere, which have influenced on civilizational development of the Asian continent. We consider the existing interpretation of the concepts "civilization" and "Buddhist civilization", compare the features of civilizational and world-system approaches, analyze the cultural aspects of Buddhist civilization formation. The article studies the effects of economic factors on spread of Buddhist civilization in Hindustan. Attention is drawn to the concept of "two truths" complementarity in Madhyamika and the Buddhist concept of "two principles" - spiritual and secular power complementarity. We investigate the pragmatics of their application in policy of particular Asian countries. We have concluded that the concept of civilizations complementarity is relevance and there is no alternative of the multipolar world order today.
