Coleanthus subtilis (Poaceae) at the south-western border of its range in Western Siberia (Tyumen and Sverdlovsk regions)

Data on the distribution and ecology of Coleanthus subtilis (Tratt.) Seidel ex Roem. et Schult., a rare species subject to protection in the Tyumen region, are presented. The plant is characteristic of low-level floodplain communities in the lower reaches of the Irtysh, Tobol, and Tura rivers. In 2021-2023, the species was repeatedly encountered in the floodplain of the Tura River within the city limits of Tyumen. In 2023, Coleanthus subtilis was first discovered in the Sverdlovsk region - on the right bank of the Tura River near the village of Burmakina in the Slobodo-Turinsky district.
