Flowering of high daylily varieties in the Mari El Republic conditions

The studying results of flowering period of 20 daylilies varieties in 2015-2017 in the VSUT Botanical garden-institute (Yoshkar-Ola, the Mari El Republic) are presented. ‘George Weld’ and 'Queen of Mai' was characterized by early flowering. These varieties were characterized by the greatest variation in the dates of beginning and end of flowering, as well as its short duration. The plants of ‘Churchill Downs’ and ‘Zolotoy Dracon’ were the last to flower. The greatest duration of flowering was observed in the varieties 'Way Wag’ and 'Radiant Greetings'. A pattern was found that later flowering varieties were characterized by a longer flowering period and a later end.
