The communicative potential of color-indicate vocabulary is its semiotic nature associated with the basic categories of human thought and transmitting cultural and emotional connotations. Understanding the meaning of colors is possible only with a help of a comprehensive analysis of the functioning of a lexical unit in the communication process.
