Power sharing in Karachay-Cherkessia and Dagestan: problems of regulation of ethnic structure in the authorities in the multiethnic societies

In the article, the author presents the analysis of the role of informal institute of ethnic representation in forming public authorities in Karachay-Cherkessia and Dagestan for ensuring ethno-political stability in these two multinational subjects of the Russian Federation.
