Dark tourism: definition of the concept and its development in the Czech Republic

This article is devoted to the study of “dark tourism” and its development in the Czech Republic. Tourism, like all other areas of the economy, is developing dynamically and more and more new types of tourism are formed. The article defines the concept of "dark tourism", discusses its origin and development. Famous and popular places in the Czech Republic, which can be used as part of “dark tourism”, are presented.
