Defects of debt relationship as one of the elements of the legal regulation mechanism

Introduction: The article considers the issue of defectiveness of one of the elements of the legal regulation mechanism, namely debt relationship. Purpose: to analyze some defects of the structural elements of debt relationship. Methods: the methodological framework of this research is based on a set of methods of scientific cognition, among which the dialectical method is the major one. The author also uses general scientific methods, such as analysis, synthesis, and also specific scientific methods, such as formal-legal, technical-legal. Results: particular defects of debt relationship are analyzed, some ways of their elimination are presented. Conclusions: every element of debt relationship (subject, object) may be defective to some extent. It is also essential to consider this problem in terms of the concept of exercising rights.
