Lack of strategic thinking and the imperatives of overcoming it. Reflections after Vienna conference on strategy

The article states the genesis of a demand for strategic thinking articulated both in Europe and in Russia based on the results of reflections following the Vienna Conference on Strategy. The resulting lack of strategic thinking negatively affects the global, regional and national security. The author defends the position that the specified shortcoming can and must be overcome under certain conditions. In this regard, the establishment of sustainable interaction with the foreign expert community is an imperative.
