The Neo-Narodniks of the journal «Russian Wealth» were critical towards Marxism. During the First Russian Revolution the journal published some information on the activity of Russian Social Democrats. The representatives of Marxism were described as dogmatists who were far from the society and not aware of its real needs. The authors of the journal were extremely superficial in analyzing the role of the Social Democrats in the First Russian Revolution and in the formation of the working class movement. The activity of the Marxists in the Duma was poorly described too, whereas there was a lot information on the Russian Marxists in the journals «Modern World», «Herald of Europe» and «Russian Thought». Therefore, we can state that the editors of the journal preferred to ignore the Russian Social Democrats.
