Activities of the emigrant organizations in solving social and economical problems of Russian refugees in Poland (1919-1939)

The article discusses the activities of emigre organizations in solving the problems of the Russian emigrants and refugees in Poland. The author notes that the formation of the emigre community in Poland was in contrast to the processes taking place in other countries. This was caused by the arrival of different soldiers’ categories from Russia to this country. Various public-governmental organizations were engaged in receiving of White Russians in Poland, including ones created by the emigrants themselves. These organizations met and employed military emigrants from Russia, solved their urgent problems. Activities of the organizations under the leadership of the Union of Emigre Organizations in Poland have effect.
