The article is devoted to the activities of the Registry Office committee as an institution providing services to the public. The activity of the Committee on the Registry Office of the Orenburg region in the provision of services to the population is considered. Recommendations on improving the activities of the Registry Office Committee of the Orenburg region in order to improve the quality of public services are presented.
