The activities of EMERCOM of Russia to prevent environmental crimes against the peace and safety of humanity

This article examines the essence of the concept of "ecocide", its reflection in the criminal law of the Russian Federation. The article examines the place of this phenomenon in international law and analyzes some documents containing information about "ecocide". Historical data on this phenomenon are presented. Special attention was also paid to the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and on the basis of the data obtained, a conclusion was made about how the EMERCOM prevents "ecocide"
