Activities of informal youth movements of extremist orientation as a factor in the victimization of minors

The article is devoted to the influence of the activities of informal youth organizations and extremist movements on the criminogenic victimization of minors. The authors investigate the prerequisites for the involvement of minors in extremist activities, analyze the age groups of persons who have committed certain types of extremist crimes. The activities of extremist youth groups banned in Russia (Misanthropic division, Slavic Union, AUE), as well as informal associations of sports fans are covered in detail. The authors state that extremist associations actively use new technologies as a platform for promoting their ideas among young people. The authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to use interdisciplinary technologies to provide applications related to public safety, which will serve as auxiliary tools in the fight against various threats.
