The fighting of the Orenburg diocese against christian sectarianism during the post-reform period

The article deals with the ways and methods of fighting of Russian Orthodox Church against Christian sectarians in the Orenburg province from the middle of 19th to the early 20th century. The author reveals the factors which complicated the realization of this politics in the given region. He characterizes the role of provincial administration in implementation of church policy.
