The public prosecutors office of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the Great Patriotic War

Introduction: the article is devoted to the main ways of work of the Public Prosecutors Office of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in 1941-1945. The authors highlight that the main goal of both the Public Prosecutors Office and the country was to defeat the enemy and draw closer the victory. Many prosecutors and investigators defended the country with lethal force. Base area soldiers controlled the implementation and compliance with the laws of war. Materials and Methods: the authors studied and analyzed unpublished documents of the State Archive of the Russian Federation, the State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan, studies of historians that revealed the features of the work of the Public Prosecutors Office of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in 1941-1945.
