Activities of reitern for the post of finance minister

The author of the present article was aimed at, relying on published sources, based on existing research literature, to show the specifics of M. H. Reitern for the post of Finance Minister. Reitern, was the first Minister of Finance, who was to act under the new conditions of the Great reforms, chief among them was the abolition of serfdom.
