U.S. military administration activities for foundation of democratic institutions in Korea (1945–1948)

The article is devoted to the historical role of American support in South Korean transition to democracy and political modernization. The investigation deals with activities of U.S. Military Administration in Korea in 1945–1948 concerning with the development of national Constitution and indoctrination of several democratic institutions into South Korean society and state. The issue is based upon studies of U.S. Military Administration documents at the Korean Institute of National History.
