The Decembrist movement in the journal “Russian wealth” at the turn of XIX–XX centuries

Writers and scholars who worked in the journal "Russian Wealth" made a significant contribution to the history of the Decembrist movement. They praised personal characteristics of the Decembrists (courage, loyalty to ideals and patriotism). In its interpretation of the Decembrists "Russian Wealth" as the tribune of moderate new Narodnichestvo occupied an intermediate position between the radical "The Past" and the liberal "Herald of Europe".
