Deconstruction of media rituals in the context of professional identity

This article examines the principles on which modern communication in media space is based, as well as the specificity and role of media rituals in the process of professional identity construction. The author shows how the emerging information society determines the forms that are adopted by socio-professional identification and solidarity. The role of Bakhtin’s carnival and rituals of everyday communication in the formation of values and the identification matrix of professional groups are shown. The author shows that potential of new media and ritual communication in information space in the formation of a professional identity remains poorly studied and requires a systematic research and conceptual reflection. The article reveals the mechanisms of ritualization of communicative practices in the formation of professional identity in the context of the mediation of the socium affecting all socio-professional groups, including military personnel. The author gives an analysis of media rituals and the specifics of interest groups and their formation in social networks.
