Delegation of powers and distribution of responsibility at railway transport enterprises

Today, an actual practical problem in the implementation of operational activities by railway transport enterprises is the risk of traffic safety violations due to incorrect actions of managers, caused, in turn, by the lack of distribution of powers, responsibility and implementation of delegation functions at the general theoretical level. The article discusses various approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of "delegation", "authority", "responsibility". As a solution to the problem, conclusions were drawn about the relevance and applicability of concepts in management practices at railway transport enterprises in the current operating conditions; specific recommendations on their formation and application are formulated.
