Problem and purpose. The article raises the question about the role of a business game providing successful economic socialization of younger generations in two economically developed countries: in Russia and the USA. The business game becomes an effective technology providing active forms of vital activity of younger generations. The purpose of the article is to justify and prove the effectiveness of the implementation of business games in the education of schoolchildren on the basis of a practical analysis and synthesis of scientific and theoretical sources to ensure their economic knowledge and professional skills, which contributes to their rapid and successful adaptation to current market conditions. The research methodology is the analysis and generalization of scientific and research works of foreign and Russian authors, whose authority and scientific reputation are recognized by the scientific community. We also used observation methods (direct, indirect, participant observation), namely, the observation of the educational process and students’ activities. The methods of research are determined by its goals, objectives, specific stage’s tasks, conceptual approaches implemented in the research, which provides the necessary depth of examining the main aspects of the problem. Results. Based on a review of the history and practice of the implementation of business games in the process of schooling, the study has conducted a comparative analysis of the use of business games in the educational process of Russia and the USA, which proves the importance of business games in the educational process of the younger generation for the economic socialization of students. Business games contribute to the development of initiative, teamwork ability, interpersonal skills and management of development, which undoubtedly leads to a successful career in the future. Conclusion. The article proves the expediency of the use of business games in the process of schooling, the essence of which is the formation of creative thinking, which leads to successful self-realization.
