Everyday business life of the pre-reform Ural merchantry

The following aspects are dwelt upon in the article: conditions of everyday business activities, labour motivation and professional relations among entrepreneurs and their interaction with local administration. Some common and specific features characteristic for the merchantry of three Ural provinces (Vyatka, Perm, Orenburg) are described in the article.
