Demographic factor in the development of the pension system of the Kyrgyz Republic

The scientific foundations of approaches to taking into account demographic factors in the formation of pension systems are generalized. An analysis of the main indicators of demographic development of Kyrgyzstan was carried out. Trends have been identified in the decline of persons of working age and the growth of persons over working age in the country's population. The factors for the growth of the demographic burden and the aging of the population, caused by a decrease in the birth rate and an increase in life expectancy, have been identified. An assessment of the growth in the number of pensioners and their ratio with the total population and the employed population is presented. The main directions of transformation of the pension system are substantiated, taking into account the development of demographic factors.
