Demographic policy in the Krasnoyarsk territory in 1960-1980-ies

The article analyzes the demographic policy held in the 1960-1980-ies in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which was a typical example area of a new industrial development. Basing on this example the authors disprove the existing opinion that there had not been any demographic policy in the USSR until the 1980-ies. The research also indicated the main trends of the demographic policy in the region. It shows the character of the state influence on the renewal of population. The authors give recommendations how to improve the modern demographic policy.
