The article is devoted to demographic consequences of globalization through the prism of neoliberal and classical gender approaches. The gender equality policy used by neoliberals to promote their economic interests in the world has negative demographic and social consequences for the status of women and men, not only in developing but also in developed countries. The main goal of promoting a policy of gender equality is the feminization of female labor, which leads to excess profits and a reduction in labor costs of TNCs, while exacerbating poverty, gender segregation, unemployment, falling incomes, technological lagging, reducing the role of the state. It also leads to a reduction in marriage and fertility, an increase in psychological burden and frustration among men and women due to the inability to combine labor and reproductive functions, and the involvement of children in the homework process due to increasing female employment.
