The demographic aspect of human capital formation of the Republic of Crimea

The article deals with the dependence of the social and economic development of the Republic of Crimea from the demographic factors. The author presents and analyses the data on the population size dynamics, its density, age and gender structure, birth rate and death rate in the Republic, inter-regional and international migration. The factors influencing the processes of depopulation and human capital reproduction are discussed.
