Poplar wood-decay fungus of the conditions of Arkhangelsk

The purpose of the work was to identify and describe the wood-destroying fungi of poplars growing in the city of Arkhangelsk. 1479 poplar trees were examined. Conks are found in 2,8 % of trees. Ten species of wood-destroying fungi have been identified. The morphological description of conk and the decay of wood caused by them is characterized.
