Details in office-work of the Russian state in attempt of establishment of control over a church confession in the XVIII century

There was a steady practice of a church confession by the XVIII century beginning in Russia. The state during this period undertakes known attempts of reform the Church touching and developing penitential practice. Penalties for absence on a confession, remained property were entered only XVIII century. Actions of the state were urged to strengthen external discipline of penitential practice, and also had fiscal character (the accounting of dissenters). Petty regulations gradually started to cause a protest, both in parishioners, and in priests and the state to the end of the century were compelled to go for their cancellation.
