Determinants and prospects of mortality reduction in Russia

The subject of the article is the development of methods of statistical analysis and prediction of mortality and life expectancy on the basis of statistical methods of correlation and selection of coefficients of regression equations. The article substantiates the possibility of analysis and forecasting of mortality and life expectancy on the basis of economic factors. The author suggests wider use of economic methods of analysis and forecasting of mortality. The article proposes specific methodological approaches to the use of economic determinants developed by the author.
