Children as human capital of the society

Specificity of the modern demographic situation both in the world and in Russia is analysed. Cognitive abilities of the conception of human capital by P. Bourdieu for the analysis of the childhood in the modern Russia in the conditions of general decrease in the number of children and increase in socio- cultural demands of the society to the younger generation are shown.
