Children in family

The article deals with the specifics of relationships between children and parents in Russian families from the point of the economic relations within family, as well as the set of values determining the moral and economic obligations of parents to children and of children to parents. It also analyses fertility and its connection to accessibility of social and economic resources. It is found out that fertility is regulated by the impact of the number of children in family on the quality of each child. The sought-for level of quality is determined by social aims of family and is attained by means of care, upbringing and education provided to a child. The article also proposes some feasible measures for raising fertility, which can be successful.
