The problems of diagnostics of single-phase capacitor induction motors by the level of external magnetic field with allowance for possible deviations of the sizes of the forms and relative position of active parts of the surface, caused by technological and operational factors are analyzed. The results obtained, including diagnostic features and characteristics of the practical application of this method are discussed.
