Diagnostics of the impact of the development of the service sector on the quality of life of the population (on the materials of the regions of the Central federal district)

The purpose of the study is to develop practical recommendations for determining strategic priorities for the development of service sector sub-sectors that improve the quality of life of the population in a cyclically developing economy based on materials from the regions of the Central Federal District. The article substantiates that for effective management it is necessary to assess the development of the service sector from the standpoint of the quality of life of the population, grouped according to various criteria. Therefore, it is necessary to use a structured presentation of data that are used in making management decisions. It is advisable to classify regions in the space of not initial, but informative parameters, which have a much lower dimension. To obtain informative parameters (integral indicators, indices, etc.), it is necessary to use expert and classification algorithms based on factor analysis, grouping, index normalization model for performance evaluation.
