Didactic technology for the development of optimism: theoretical and applied bases

At the present stage of development of society, there is a need to correlate pedagogical theory with educational practice in order to make didactic technologies more functional. The ambiguity of the interpretation of the concept of “pedagogical technology” prompted the author to analyze its content and highlight several of its components for this study. The purpose of the study: scientific analysis, pedagogical interpretation and approbation of the author’s technology for the development of optimism. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the main approaches to the possibility of learning optimism are determined; given a pedagogical interpretation of optimism as a strategy for achieving success. The author’s didactic technology of optimism is proposed, which allows teaching optimism as a skill of positive thinking, emotional response and action to achieve success in educational activities. Optimism as an acquired quality, but at the same time based on the natural predisposition of the individual to success, confirms the hypothesis that optimism can be learned. This requires a certain pedagogical technology to create a situation of success, in which a favorable pedagogical opportunity is provided to achieve a significant educational result, accompanied by a sense of joy, pride in educational work as an invariant of private author’s didactics.
