The article discusses the mechanisms of innovative educational environment creation by means of improving the teaching methods applied in training of future designers in accordance with the modern education values aimed at formation of the competence model of a higher school graduate. Special attention is paid to the combination of theory and practice as one of the main didactic principles when teaching Bachelors of Design, which is the basis of the author's method of composite.
