Differential evaluation of cross-symptoms of anxiety disorders and acute cardiac conditions

The article introduces observation of 78 patients with acute anxiety symptomatology, who underwent treatment in cardiology and psychiatry in-patient clinics. It is established that 78,2% of the patients first sought medical care due to somatic anxiety disorders. The article describes major differential and diagnostic criteria for evaluation of symptoms typical for anxiety disorders and acute cardiac conditions, as well as complex treatment approach.
