Modern diagnostic algorithm and improvement of surgical tactics for diffuse toxic goiter

This article presents materials on the tactics of postoperative management of patients with diffuse toxic and endemic types of goiter. It is based on the observation of 32 patients with this pathology who were operated in a hospital in the surgical clinic of the Department of Faculty and hospital Surgery, Urology for the period from 2020 to 2023. Postoperative treatment included the appointment of substitution therapy and constant monitoring of the condition of patients.
