Diffraction of Gaussian beams on a cylinder with subwavelength radius

Бесплатный доступ

The numerical analysis of the diffraction of Gaussian beam and mode Gauss - Laguerre (0,1) was held on a cylinder with a sub-wavelength radius with circular polarization of the input light, based on finite-difference time-domain method. The characteristics that provide subwavelength focusing such as the size of details, type of laser, the refractive index of the cylinder, were defined. Numerically shown that the longitudinal component of the electric field can be focused near the surface of the element in the spot light, the size of which at full width at half maximum of intensity is 0,27 with total intensity 0,39 .
