Dynamic changes in the myocytes of cervix myometrium in rats during pregnancy and delivery

Complex morphologic study of the leiomyocytuses at a level of cervix sphincter in rats during pregnancy and delivery made it possible to reveal the dynamic changes among the populations of myometrium myocytes. It was established that during pregnancy myocytes hypertrophy in all layers of the cervix myometrium. On the eve of delivery and during normal delivery, number of special organelles and the structure of protein synthesizing system in the myocytes of the inner layer decreases. Clasmatosis indicates two simultaneous processes: secretion of the intercellular substance and start of involutory changes.
